Fused glass panel in a Green and Aqua colour based on Wisteria leaves.

Each piece is made by hand using actual leaves. Assembling all materials between two sheets of clear glass I used the leaves as a resist with a combination of copper oxide and glass powders. These are then put into the kiln at temperatures above 800 degrees centigrade to produce the fused piece.

The glass is mounted in a stand made from spalted beech which holds two standard (40mm) T-light candle to illuminate the glass (T-light included). The wooden stand is finished with a light coating of hard wearing Chestnut finishing oil.

Size: 16.2cm (w) x 11.5cm (h) x 7.8cm (d) including the wood stand.
