Pink Jasmine Fused Glass Single T-Light

Each piece is made by hand using actual leaves. Assembling all materials between two sheets of clear glass I used the leaves with a combination of copper oxide and glass powder. These are then put into the kiln at temperatures above 800 degrees centigrade to produce the fused piece.

The glass panel is mounted in a stand made from oak which holds a single standard (40mm) T-light candle to illuminate the glass (T-light included). The oak stand is finished with a light coating of hard wearing Chestnut finishing oil.

Due to the handmade process each glass piece and oak stand are unique. There may be slight differences in size, colour and texture.
